Therill Tso, of the Native American Church of A’Shii’be’to (meaning Salt Lake), presents a portrait of Quanah Parker to Primary Children’s Hospital for display in the hospital’s Meditation Chapel. It will join items representing many faith traditions that help create a spiritual atmosphere in the chapel. The print, entitled “Hope, Faith, Strength, Courage & Healing,” was created by Sevier Nelson, a well-known Native American artist. It depicts Quanah Parker, the last Chief of the Comanches. Quanah Parker, a courageous leader, led the Comanche tribe and other tribes.
